Joining the Indian Revenue Service is no easy feat yet Daribha Lyndem has charted a successful career as a civil servant.

If making the rest of us look bad in front of our parents wasn’t enough, she’s also a writer and passionate about a host of topics from decor to styling and skincare. Recently, she added another feather to her cap as her debut novel ‘Name, Place, Animal, Thing’ made it to the prestigious JCB Prize for Literature longlist.

For our series ‘In Hindsight,’ Daribha joined us for a candid conversation to share her journey navigating the Indian Revenue Services, tackling sexism and discrimination and dealing with imposter syndrome.
