“She’s too bossy,” “She’s difficult,” “She’s high-maintenance” — it’s often comments like these from male colleagues and peers that sideline women and put undue pressure on them to stretch themselves thin by always saying yes and by constantly apologizing even when it’s not their mistake.
We know the challenges women face in the workplace, but speaking up is often a privilege when the odds are stacked against you.
